The bricks are collected and taken back to Ibstock Brick LImited for firing in their kiln.

Once they have been returned to the site, Karen and master bricklayer Christopher Simkiss install the sculpture on the concrete pad, using the plastic template to inform the shape. The bricks are bonded together with a layer of mortar.
